Welcome to the website of Buckshot General Contracting ("Buckshot," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website at buckshotexteriors.com and the information and requests you submit through it. Please read them carefully.

Plain-language summary
Use our site and you agree to these terms. Estimates we provide are free and not binding until you and we sign a written agreement. The real terms of your project, scope, price, schedule, and warranty, are in that signed agreement. We do our best to keep the site accurate, but we can't guarantee it's perfect, and the page below explains the limits.

01 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our website, requesting an estimate, or otherwise engaging with us through this site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. If you use the site on behalf of a household or business, you represent that you're authorized to accept these Terms on their behalf.

02 Use of Our Website

You may use our website for lawful, personal, and informational purposes, including learning about our services and requesting an estimate. You agree not to:

  • Misuse the site, including attempting to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to it or its systems.
  • Submit false information or another person's information without their permission.
  • Copy, scrape, or reuse our content for commercial purposes without our permission (see Intellectual Property).
  • Use the site to break the law or infringe anyone's rights.

03 Estimates & Proposals

We're glad to provide free estimates and proposals. Please keep in mind:

  • Estimates are not a contract. An estimate or proposal is informational and does not become a binding agreement until both you and Buckshot sign a written contract for the work.
  • Estimates can change. Pricing is based on the information available at the time and the conditions we can observe. If hidden conditions, code requirements, material costs, or scope changes come up, the price or timeline may need to be adjusted, and we'll discuss any change with you.
  • Estimates may expire. Because material and labor costs move, an estimate is valid only for the period stated on it, or for a reasonable time if none is stated.
  • Requesting an estimate creates no obligation for you to hire us, or for us to take on the project.
The agreement that matters
The full terms of any project, including scope, price, payment schedule, timeline, and warranty, are set out in the written agreement you sign for that specific work. Those project terms, not this web page, govern the work itself.

04 Financing

We offer financing options through a third-party lender, Service Finance Company, LLC. If you choose to apply:

  • Financing is provided by the lender, not by Buckshot, and is subject to the lender's credit approval and terms.
  • The lender's own terms, rates, and disclosures apply to any financing you accept, and you should review them carefully.
  • Approval is not guaranteed, and Buckshot does not make lending decisions.

05 Insurance Claims

We frequently help homeowners with storm and damage projects that involve an insurance claim. To be clear about our role:

  • We are a contractor, not a public adjuster. We can inspect your property, document damage, and work with your insurance carrier on the repair, but we do not negotiate, adjust, or settle claims on your behalf.
  • Your insurer decides coverage. Whether a claim is approved, and what it pays, is determined by your insurance company and your policy, not by Buckshot.
  • You're responsible for your deductible and any amounts your policy doesn't cover, as set out in your project agreement.

06 Warranties

We stand behind our work, and many of our projects are backed by both manufacturer warranties and our workmanship warranty.

  • Warranty terms are set out in your project documents, including the specific coverage, duration, and conditions that apply to your work.
  • Manufacturer warranties (for example, on roofing materials) are provided by the manufacturer and governed by their terms. As a GAF Master Elite contractor, we can offer certain enhanced GAF warranties on qualifying projects.
  • Nothing on this website is itself a warranty. The website describes our services in general terms; your actual warranty is the one provided with your project.
Trademarks
GAF, Master Elite, and related marks are trademarks of GAF. Buckshot is an independent GAF Master Elite contractor and is not GAF. FORTIFIED is a program of the Insurance Institute for Business & Home Safety (IBHS); Buckshot is not IBHS. Other product and company names mentioned may be trademarks of their respective owners.

07 Intellectual Property & Content

The content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, photographs of our work, and design, is owned by or licensed to Buckshot and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and share it for personal, non-commercial purposes, but you may not copy, reproduce, or reuse it commercially without our written permission.

If you send us content, such as photos of your property, a review, or a message, you grant us permission to use it as needed to respond to you and provide our services. If you'd prefer we not use a photo or review more broadly, just let us know.

08 Third-Party Links

Our website may link to third-party sites, such as a financing application, a manufacturer's site, or a review platform. We provide these for convenience and don't control or endorse those sites. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, where Buckshot is headquartered, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to this website or these Terms will be handled in accordance with Wisconsin law. The terms of any specific project are governed by the agreement you sign for that work, which may specify its own terms.
