No mystery, no pressure. From the first free inspection to the final walkthrough, here's every step of a Buckshot project, who does what, when, and what you can expect. Most homeowners are surprised how little they have to do.
The whole process starts with a free, no-obligation inspection. Tell us a little about your roof and a Buckshot team member comes out, assesses it, and walks you through your options, no commitment required. We respond within 2 hours.
Thanks, there. We received your request and respond within 2 hours during business hours.
Whether it's a single repair or a full replacement, the process is the same five steps, so you always know what's next. Here's what each one involves.
A Buckshot team member inspects your full roof, documents everything with photos, and gives you a written summary of what they found, whether you need a repair, a replacement, or nothing yet. We tell you honestly. We respond to requests within 2 hours.
You get an estimate that lists every material and labor line, not a vague square-footage number. We walk through it with you and answer every question before anything is signed. No pressure, no fine-print surprises. Financing is available if you'd like to spread out the cost.
You choose your GAF shingle line and color, we lock in a date that works for you, and we pull any required permits. As a GAF Master Elite contractor we walk every option, from Timberline HDZ to designer profiles, so the roof fits your home and budget.
Our in-house crew, never subcontracted, completes most homes in a single day: full tear-off to the decking, decking inspection, ice and water shield, underlayment, GAF shingles, and flashing. We protect your property with tarps and sweep every nail with magnets at the end.
We do a final inspection with you, make sure the site is spotless, and then register your GAF warranty for you and hand over the paperwork. Your roof is backed by the GAF System Plus warranty plus our written craftsmanship guarantee, and we keep your records on file.
The core five steps stay the same, but if you're filing an insurance claim, we add the documentation and adjuster work, the part most homeowners dread, and handle it for you.
A straightforward repair, replacement, or upgrade you're funding yourself or with financing.
We add full claim documentation and attend the adjuster meeting, the step most contractors skip.
On an insurance claim, your part is short: book the inspection, file the claim, and pay your deductible. See how insurance claims work →

Roofing is stressful because it usually feels opaque. We built our process to do the opposite, here's what that means for you.
The same five steps every time, with a written report and itemized estimate, so nothing is a surprise and you're never guessing what happens next.
The same company inspects, quotes, and builds, with our own crews and one project manager as your point of contact. No handoffs, no subcontractors.
Every project finishes with a registered GAF System Plus warranty plus our written craftsmanship guarantee, backed by a company family-owned since 1979.
Ryan walked us through the whole process. He dealt with the insurance company, showed up for a free quote, and the job was scheduled quickly after.
You could not even tell they had been there, except that I had a new roof. I didn't even find a nail.
The whole crew was professional, the work was excellent, and they cleaned up so well you'd never know they were there.
Book a no-cost, no-obligation inspection and we'll put the whole process in motion, assess your roof, walk you through your options, and give you a written report. GAF Master Elite, family-owned since 1979, our own crews on every job.
